Wii Motion sensor and Arduino
27. June 2009 - 16:06 — adminHow to read the gyro data from Wii Motion Plus by an Arduino.
Maze in a Box
13. September 2008 - 21:40 — adminMaze in a Box is a portable game in which you tilt a TV to navigate your way around a 3D maze as though you were in it.
Weeboy - A portable, color, tilt-controlled video game system
9. September 2008 - 14:17 — adminThe Weeboy is a portable color video game system that is not dependent on stationary displays or external power sources and features novel tilt-based control.
Motion controlled MP3 player
15. June 2008 - 13:49 — adminThe MP3 player does not have any buttons nor dials that shown in right photo and it has an acceleration sensor instead of the mechanical switches. Therefore all playback commands to the player are given in defined motions, such as inclination, tilt and shock. The player detects the motion with the built-in acceleration sensor and recognize it as a playback control command. As the result, it came to not seem an audio player in appearance.
My first experiments with accelerometers
29. April 2008 - 16:59 — admin...or Would you like to built your own Wiimote? :)
Accelerometer again...
26. April 2008 - 15:32 — adminI've published the article about AVR-based accelerometer a few days ago. Here is another stuff with Microchip PIC.
AVR Accelerometer
20. April 2008 - 20:16 — adminJesper Hansen's accelerometer named AccelR8 based on Analog Devices' MEMS chip
Accelerometer Based Mouse
12. April 2008 - 21:10 — adminThis article shows how to use an use an accelerometer as a mouse. The project uses a MEMS X/Y accelerometer, a PIC microcontroller and a old mouse. It also describes a trick for powering the new mouse with the unused RS232 serial control lines.
