Nokia F-Bus

Most Nokia phones have F-Bus and M-Bus connections that can be used to connect a phone to a PC or a microcontroller. The connection can be used for controlling just about all functions of the phone, as well as uploading new firmware etc. This bus will allow us to send and receive SMS messages.

Open-source AVL

AVL stands for Automatic Vehicle Location, which is accomplished by means of a tracking GPS and M2M modules. Actually a small AVL can be used to track any objects, including kids and pets.

ARM Car locator

This car locator is built around an LM3S811 microcontroller. It uses a GPS receiver to record geographical coordinates and a GSM modem to communicate with the user. If the car moves, the system sends an alert.
