ATMega48

4bit MIDI synthesizer

Simple AVR-based MIDI monophonic synthesizer.

USBasp - in-circuit programmer for Atmel AVR

This AVR programmer consists of an ATMega48 or an ATMega8 and a couple of passive components. The programmer uses a firmware-only USB driver, no special USB controller is needed.

Stereo PWM audio

Using a pwm channel of a simple microcontroller, a capacitor and a resistor to reproducting sounds.

Power usage logger

This device monitors household power usage and logs it to an SD card.

Flickr images on a Nokia 6110 Color LCD

Most used are these green character displays with two or more rows to display menus, status or debug messages. With mass production of mobile phones, color LCDs get that cheap, that they can be used as replacement. To test the display, I hacked a kind of small digital picture frame, that fetches pictures from Flickr.
