Electronics sthetoscope
This project is an attempt to build a portable electronic stethoscope that selectively
amplifies body sound signals for clear auscultation by applying various digital filters
using Microchip dsPIC capabilities along with Microchip’s low noise op-amps and PGA.
This dsPIC30F2012-based electronic stethoscope selectively amplifies body sound signals for clear auscultation. The portable system features a digital readout displaying temperature and pulse rate data. In this project the existing acoustic stethoscope’s bell is used in conjunction with a microphone for body sound signal sensing.
