ISA VGA card with an AVR
Don't throw out your old ISA VGA cards. Sure, you can use them in the regular way in your PC, but you definitelly can use them in your hobby devices. For example with an ATMega128.
The old periprherial card from the PC past (90's) should be a great periprherial for the new devices with modern microcontroller. This project is based on ATMega128 microcontroller with an old ISA VGA card as graphical output. It can be great, because VGA monitors are very cheap now, so you can have a powerful display device for a few bucks.
