Digital capacitance meter

An older (2003), but still good circuit: Capacitance meter with AVR AT90S2313 by ELM.

If you have a spare old 90S2313, this meter should be a good choice to build!

This meter uses the integration method. There is an advantage that the resulut can be got as a digital data directly because it bases measurement of time, accurate analog circuit is not required and its calibration can be done easy by using a microcontroller. Therefor the integration method is suitable for hand built capacitance meter with high realizability.

Meter has an autoranging feature, switching between ranges from pF up to ca 400µF.
