How to connect an old C64 keyboard to the PC via USB - just for curiosity and skills.
This circuit is based on Objective Development's AVRUSB firmware (Read more here). The heart of the USB interface is ATMega8 AVR microcontroller with some passives around, the keyboard is taken from an old Commodore C64.
